Mode identification for several slowly pulsating B‐type stars (SPB) including effects of rotation is presented. The effects of the Coriolis force are incorporated via the traditional approximation. We show that even for slow rotators amongst the SPB stars, rotation cannot be ignored when the angular numbers of pulsational modes are determined. Moreover, some constraints on the rotational velocity and inclination angle are derived (© 2012 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)
