Interstellar reddening in a high‐latitude field around omega bootis

Photoelectric UBV observations of stars show the existence of an interstellar dust cloud of 0.2 mag. visual extinction and 1.5 pc diameter at 60°.5 galactic latitude. Properties of the cloud and the interstellar polarization in the region are being discussed.
