Abstract In this paper, we investigate the synchronization of complex networks with Markovian switching couplings. The complex network we deal with subjects to Markovian switching couplings, noise perturbations and internal and outer time‐varying delays, which is a more general model and has wide applications. The control scheme we employ is the aperiodically quantized intermittent pinning control. By using the Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functional, It ô 's formula and the linear matrix inequality (LMI), sufficient conditions for synchronization of complex networks with Markovian switching couplings are obtained. A numerical simulation is provided to demonstrate the validity of our theoretical results.
