This paper considers the stability analysis of reset control systems with time‐varying delay. Based on sector reset conditions, delay‐dependent exponential stability and finite gainℒ 2stability conditions are proposed, and piecewise Lyapunov functions are used such that less conservative results can be obtained, moreover,ℒ 2gain performance improvement results are presented to show the advantage of reset control. Numerical examples are given to show the effectiveness.
