Abstract It is demonstrated that three kinds of neutral pentaerythritol derivatives possess promising host‐guest complexations with pillar[6]arenes both in solution and in the solid state. The inclusion structures were characterized by NMR spectroscopy and X‐ray crystallography. The complexation properties in different solvents were also investigated.
