Silicon‐based composites have been recognized as a promising anode material for high‐energy lithium‐ion batteries (LIBs). Doping with heteroatoms is one promising method to endow silicon materials unmatched electrochemical properties. In this Minireview, the effects of heteroatom doping on the interfacial properties of Si‐based anodes and some typical strategies for interface doping are highlighted. More information can be found in the Minireview by Jianping Yang et al. on page 1394 in Issue 9, 2020 (DOI: 10.1002/asia.202000164).
