The (ONO pincer)ruthenium‐complex‐bound norvaline efficiently catalyzes the oxidation of alcohols with H 2 O 2 . The high catalytic activity can be attributed to the phase‐transferring properties of the metalated amino acid, which forms micellar aggregates in biphasic reaction media.
