Two new burgers are dished up with fullerene “meat” and porphyrin buns. Dish 1 was synthesized in the presence of C 60 meat, but the method produced a thin burger in which the fullerene was not intercalated. Dish 2 was synthesized in the presence of C 70 meat, producing a thick burger with intercalated C 70 . When a combination of C 60 and C 70 was employed, C 70 meat was found to be preferentially intercalated between the porphyrin buns.
