Dethreading the needle! Rotaxanes of α‐cyclodextrin (CyD) capped by 1‐adamantaneacetic acid and a deoxyribonucleotide have been synthesized and purified with reverse‐phase (RP) HPLC. Thermodynamic parameters of the dethreading process of deoxyribonucleotides through α‐CyD were also successfully determined by simple and convenient kinetic study of the process using RP‐HPLC.
