Long‐term clinical and laboratory studies of 24 cases of systemic lupus erythematosus provide additional information concerning the nature of this polysymptomatic disease. Positive rheumatoid serologic tests were observed in 28 per cent of patients tested. Antimalarial drugs seemed to benefit most patients.
