Diazotized 3 coupled with active methylene reagents to afford compounds 5 and 10 . Aromatic diazonium salts coupled with 3 to afford 12 , which was converted into 3 in refluxing AcOH/H 2 SO 4 . The reaction of 3 with isothiocyanates resulted in the formation of compounds 14 , 15 , and 16 .
