Structure‐activity relationships of a series of histamine analogues were found to be identical, except for one minor discrepancy, to those of a series of corresponding dimaprit analogues. It was concluded that histamine and dimaprit most probably interact with the same binding sites of the histamine H 2 ‐receptor.
