A series of (1,2,4‐benzothiadiazine‐1,1‐dioxide‐3‐yl)‐propanoic acids B or ‐butanoic acids C has been synthesized. Their antiinflammatory activities were studied and compared with those of the lower homologues A . Some of the compounds examined showed pronounced activities against carrageenan‐induced plantar oedema.
