A series of 2‐(acylamino)benzenesulfonamides was prepared. Their anti‐convulsant effects on two convulsives (electro‐shock and pentetrazol) were studied. The structure/effect relationships were compared with those of a series of isomeric 2‐aminobenzenesulfon‐N‐acylamides and of 2‐nitrobenzenesulfon‐N‐acylamides. The possible influence of pK a and log P was examined.
