Syntheses of some new thiosemicarbazides, thiadiazoles, triazoles and their derivatives are described. Most of the compounds were screened for activity against ranikhet disease virus (RDV) in a stationary culture of chorioallantoic membranes of chick embryo. Some of them exhibited significant inhibitory activity against the virus.
