Oxydation von Apomorphin (I) in saurer bis neutraler Lösung gibt 6‐Methyl‐5,6‐dihydro‐4H‐dibenzo[de,g]chinolin‐10,11‐dion (II). Im Alkalischen entstehen 6‐Methyl‐10‐hydroxy‐5,6‐dihydro‐4H‐dibenzo[de,g]chinolin‐8,11‐dion (IV) und 6‐Methyl‐5,6‐dihydro‐4H‐benzo[de]chinolin‐8,9‐dion (VII).
