Eder H. C. Ferreira and Guilhermino J. M. Fechine studied the healing phenomenon adapted to understand the miscibility of polymer blends. The discussions are based on the deformation mechanism of HDPE, UHMWPE and HDPE‐UHMWPE blends produced under different conditions. The image illustrates the correlation of the five stages of the healing phenomenon at the polymer‐polymer interphase with the processing, molding, and mechanical performance of polyethylene blends. The advances reported in this paper can contribute to understanding the mechanical performance of different systems formed by compatible polyethylene blends. DOI: 10.1002/app.49604
