This image, by Seong Hun Kim and Yeon Sung Ryu, is made of polylactide porous hollow nanofiber by electrospinning and coated with silica nanoparticles. The porosity was controlled by using various solvents, and the hollowformwas realized by coaxial electrospinning. It has a high level of oil absorption from the structure of the nanofibers and has been given selective absorption to prevent moisture absorption fromthe superwater‐repellent nano silica. In addition, it ismade using polylactide, a biomassbased material, which also shows excellent environmental friendliness. DOI: 10.1002/app.49132
