The cover by Zhiwei Li and his team shows SEM images of flexible polyurethane foams (FPUFs) coated by the h‐BN flame retardant coatings via layer‐by‐layer assembly method, which indicates that the thickness of h‐BN coatings tends to become increasingly thick along with the increase in the dosages of the dispersions of h‐BN nanosheets. Particularly, cone calorimetric test confirmed that h‐BN coatings could effectively reduce the peak of heat release rate (50.1%) and CO production (53.8%) of FPUFs, respectively, showing excellent flame‐retardant performance, mainly due to the physical barrier effect and “tortuous path” effect.
