The Cover by Zheng Cao and colleagues shows the macroscopic morphologies of the residues of the composites after the CC test. Pure HDPE leaves no residue, and the composite with graphene and without flame retardants also leaves almost no residue after the CC test. However, intumescent char layers are formed in the case of the composites with flame retardants. The char of the composites filled with both EP@ADP and EP@APP (the ratio is 2/1) is obviously larger, more swollen, and compact than those of the other samples. These results further confirm the synergistic effect between EP@ADP and EP@APP on improving the formation of an intumescent char. DOI: 10.1002/app.46662 .
