Jean‐Luc Audic and colleagues report new UV‐responsive polyurethanes derived from cyclocarbonated broccoli seed oil and various amines. The isocyanate‐free synthetic route was optimized, involving first the epoxidation of the broccoli seed oil, then carbonatation with CO 2 , and finally aminolysis with three different di‐ or triamines. The resulting polymer matrix was mechanically tunable and allowed for the integration of phosphorescent molybdenum nanoclusters to confer fluorescent activity. (DOI: 10.1002/app.45339 ).
