Novel adsorbents based on artificially modified polymers with high capacity and good selectivity have attracted worldwide attention. Hongjuan Ma and colleagues describe the preparation of a tertiary aminetype polymeric fiber adsorbent, PE/PP‐g‐PDMAEMA (polyethylene‐coated polypropylene skin‐core structure fiber graft poly( N,N ‐dimethylamino ethyl methacrylate) by a one‐step green method using radiation‐induced graft polymerization, and the adsorption behavior of Au(III) under different conditions in both batch and flow‐through tests. The study provides an effective method for gold recovery from aqueous solutions. (DOI: 10.1002/app.44955 )
