Shilin Yan and co‐workers prepared sulfhydryl‐grafted MWCNTs and vinyl‐grafted MWCNTs with various silane coupling agents, and further observed a fascinating phenomenon that the hybrid filler of these MWCNTs effectively enhanced the thermal conductivity and the shear strength of epoxy‐based composites via thiol‐ene reaction with 2,2'‐azobis(2‐methylpropionitrile) as thermal initiator. The results indicate that the silane treatment of MWCNTs is beneficial to reduce the thermal interface resistance and improve the interface interaction between MWCNTs and epoxy resin, and the chemical bonding between MWCNTs formed by the thiol‐ene reaction helps to decrease the thermal contact resistance.
