Shengnan Zhang, Hai Wang, Duigong Xu, Wenxiao Yang, Ping Tang and Yuezhen Bin examine the crystallization behavior of poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) and transcrystallization in carbon fiber/PVDF composites under temperature gradients. The cover image, taken using polarized‐light optical microscopy, exhibits a unique doubled transcrystalline layer with PVDF α and γ phases at the interface of the PVDF/ carbon fiber composites. On the carbon fiber, transcrytallization of PVDF γ phase (orange) occurs, which induces the growth of the transcrystalline α phase (yellow). (DOI: 10.1002/app.43605 )
