On page 42987 (1 of 11), Athanasios Porfyris, Stamatina Vouyiouka, Constantine Papaspyrides, Ruud Rulkens, Eric Grolman and Geert Vanden Poel report different techniques for the preparation of tetramethylenediammonium terephthalate (4T salt). In particular, 4T salt was synthesized via solution, slurry and solvent‐free techniques. The preparation techniques involving water result in salt particles of different sizes with a clear crystal morphology. In contrast, 4T salt prepared via the solvent‐free technique exhibits a unique particle morphology, consisting of micro‐scale porous particles. The morphology of these particles closely resembles that of the initial terephthalic acid particles. (DOI: 10.1002/app.42987 )
