Hydrogels, as an adsorbent, can remove pollutants such as metal ions from aqueous solutions because they are easy to apply and regenerate, and they have a high removal capacity. Nalan Baş et al. use 60 Co‐γ radiation polymerization to obtain the homopolymer N,N‐dimethylaminopropyl methacrylamide (DMAPMAm) and copolymers DMAPMAm/itaconic acid (DMAPMAm/IA), as shown in the scanning electron microscopy taken by Evren Çubukçu. The hydrogels are exposed to cobalt ions in an aqueous solution by using a phosphate buffer. X‐ray diffraction reveals that crystals on the surface of the hydrogels are cobalt phosphate octahydrate (Co 3 (PO 4 ) 2 .8H 2 O). DOI: 10.1002/app.39569
