The cover shows an atomic force microscope image of a self‐assembled collagen film after being regenerated from the 1‐ethyl‐3‐methylimidazolium acetate ([EMIM][Ac])‐based ionic liquid solvent system, as presented by Yang Hu et al. on page 2245 . The regenerated collagen sample shows a cross‐striation pattern with a compact, regular arrangement that is characteristic of the original collagen, indicating that the regenerated collagen sample still retains structural integrity. Some disfigurement in the pattern indicates possible disruption in the conformation of the regenerated collagen sample, but most of the arrangements remain compact, suggesting that the solvent system could be used in dissolving collagen.
