Halloysite nanotubes (HNTs) or carbon nanotubes (CNTs) can be incorporated within poly(lactic‐coglycolic acid) (PLGA) nanofibers via a coaxial manner and the incorporation of HNTs or CNTs does not significantly change the morphology of the PLGA nanofibers, as presented on page 4825 by Xiangyang Shi and colleagues. Importantly, the incorporation of HNTs or CNTs within PLGA nanofibers significantly improves the mechanical properties of PLGA nanofibers, and the formed HNT‐ and CNT‐doped PLGA nanofibers display good anticoagulant properties and negligible haemolytic effects to human red blood cells. These composite nanofibers may be used as artificial tissue/organ substitutes for tissue engineering applications
