The UV‐crosslinking as an established technology has been used in many industrial manufacturing processes. New application and technical specifications of UV‐crosslinking lead to continuous development of tailor‐made photoinitiators which can efficiently meet specific requirements. A new class of radical reactive photoinitiators based on s‐triazine has been used for crosslinking of acrylic pressure‐sensitive adhesives containing double bonds. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
