Polyferrocenyldimethylsilanes with different molecular weights were prepared via thermal ring‐opening polymerization of the corresponding strained, silicon‐bridged ferrocenophanes. The electrochemical behavior of the resultant polymers in different media were investigated by cyclic voltammetry. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. J Appl Polym Sci 82: 3258–3261, 2001
