Abstract A method suitable for measuring the state of cure in acrylate optical fiber coating is described. Both the outermost (secondary) and the innermost (primary) coatings cure states can be determined. The method is reproducible and suitable for manufacturing process control and quality control in produced fiber. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
