The time–temperature–transformation (TTT) isothermal cure diagram and the continuous‐heating‐transformation (CHT) cure diagram are calculated from a reaction model for a high‐ T g epoxy/amine system that has been developed to describe both epoxy/amine and etherification reactions in kinetically and diffusion‐controlled reaction regimes. The cure diagrams are applied to various processing operations. The optimization of processing and of material properties by exploiting gelation and/or vitrification during cure is discussed. © 1994 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
