Diffusion coefficients for direct dyes (C. I. Direct Red 81, Green 26, Blue 75, and Black 22) in Chitosan films are determined to be 4.48 × 10 −11 to 4.54 × 10 −10 cm 2 /at 60°C and pH 9. A method for producing chitosan films is described.
