Changes of flow curves of the carboxylated acrylate latex dispersions during alkalinization were described in terms of parameters of the Cross theory of aggregation of disperse particles. It was found that the dependence of viscosity on pH has a maximum at pH ≃ 9.3 where a yield stress appears.
