Abstract The work shows PVC qualitative dependence under the conditions for the preparation of samples and some of their properties. The different ways of preparation influences the differences of residual stress and the free volume of samples, which is apparent even on properties, the measuring of which is not sufficiently precise, and therefore the differentiating ability is small (as, e.g., the notch impact strength).
