The electrochemical properties of a series of baked poly(methyl vinyl ether‐maleic anhydride)‐polyvinyl alcohol membranes were investigated. Increased baking time and carboxylic acjd content reduced swelling and osmotic flow, and increased the concentration potentials. Near‐maximum concentration potentials were obtained for some membranes in a limited concentration range.
