Thermal analysis of EVOH copolymers with different ethylene content, were performed by TGA/DTGA under dynamic conditions. Apparent kinetic parameters were determined using different classical kinetic approaches. The apparent activation energy values obtained confirm that thermal stability of EVOH increases with ethylene content. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Appl Polym Sci 90: 3157–3163, 2003
