The conductance behavior of copolymers of aniline and thiophene with varying concentration ratios were studied in acetonitrile/tetrabutylammonium tetrafluoroborate using cyclic voltammetry and in situ conductance measurements. These studies revealed that compared with homopolymers, the copolymers have extended ranges of stability (even at very positive applied potentials), lower conductivities, and reversible doping/undoping characteristics. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
