A new method is presented for calculation of two‐phase parameters for horizontal stratified plus roll wave pipe flow. An iterative momentum balance calculation was performed based on the actual average phase velocities and the gas liquid interfacial shape. The liquid holdup and two phase pressure loss was predicted within ±2% of measured values for data obtained over a wide range of pipe diameters.
