This paper presents the pyrolysis experimental results of 8 component categories of Municipal Solid Wastes (MSW). Tests were carried out by a TG‐DTA 92 thermogravimetric analyzer which was made by Setaram Ltd. Co., France. This apparatus performs experiments such as TG, DTG and DTA simultaneously. MSW pyrolysis characteristics were investigated under different heating rates and different terminal temperatures. On the basis of the experimental results, kinetics parameters of MSW pyrolysis reactions were obtained and suitable kinetics model were proposed.
