Abstract A stable dimeric mono‐coordinated NHC–Pd(II) complex with bridging iodine atoms was synthesized and characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. It has been successfully applied to the Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling reaction under aerobic conditions. Good to excellent yields were obtained in most cases with the addition of H 2 O.
