A one‐pot synthesis is described for polychlorobi‐phenyl number 206. Addition of C 6 Cl 5 Li to tetrachlorobenzyne gives 2‐LiC 12 Cl 9 , which undergoes Li/H exchange with C 6 Cl 5 H to form 2, 2′, 3, 3′, 4, 4′, 5, 5′, 6‐nonachlorobiphenyl
