The title structure, [Me 2 Im][Cd(SeCN) 3 ] (Me 2 Im = N,N ′‐dimethylimidazolium), comprises triply bridged one‐dimensional cadmium‐selenocyanate chains in which the cadmium atoms are octahedrally coordinated within 3 Se 3 N geometries. Copyright © 2003 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
