The dinuclear molecule of p ‐(Ph 3 SnCH 2 SiMe 2 ) 2 C 6 H 4 adopts an ‘S’ conformation in the solid state, which is stabilized by CH···π interactions. Distorted tetrahedra defined by C 4 donor sets are found for the tin atoms. Copyright © 2002 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
