Diketopyrrolopyrroles (DPPs) are widely used as building blocks for organic optoelectronic materials. In their Research Article on page 10700, Deqing Zhang and co‐workers report a new synthetic method toward both N ‐aryl DPPs and π‐expanded DPPs. These new DPP molecules show promising light‐emitting and semiconducting properties, demonstrating their usefulness for the development of high‐performance organic optoelectronic materials.
