Anion‐sealed capsules are formed via hydrogen bonding interactions between pyrogallol[5]arenes or resorcin[5]arenes with anions, as described by Agnieszka Szumna and co‐workers in their Communication on page 4540. The capsules have a dodecahedral geometry and exist in THF and in benzene, but not in chloroform, reflecting competitive effects in the solvation of anions. It is also demonstrated that mechanochemical pretreatment (dry‐milling) of solid samples is indispensable to initialize self‐assembly in benzene.
