Titanium germylidenes were synthesized, isolated, and structurally characterized, as described by Vladimir Ya. Lee, Akira Sekiguchi, and co‐workers in their Communication on page 3951. These titanium–germylene complexes contain a Ti=Ge bond featuring a Lewis‐acidic titanium(IV) center and a Lewis‐basic germanium center and can be described as Schrock‐type titanium germylidenes––the germanium analogues of the widely known titanium alkylidenes.
