Matrine‐type alkaloids have been used in traditional Chinese medicinal preparations for centuries. The unique molecular skeletons of these alkaloids can afford a series of novel organic structure‐directing agents (OSDAs) through simple modification. In their Communication on page 6486 ff., X. Zou, J. Jiang et al. use a sophoridine derivative as an OSDA to synthesize a new extra‐large‐pore zeolite with an unprecedented 24‐ring pore opening.
