A flexible solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) layer provides a promising modification for lithium metal anodes. In their Communication on page 1505 ff., R. Wen, Y.‐G. Guo et al. show that the flexible LiPAA SEI layer can address the issue of dynamic Li plating/stripping by so called self‐adapting interface regulation, which decreases dendrite growth and improves the safety performance of the Li metal anode.
