Efficient tumor eradication by endogenous synergistic cancer therapy has been developed by combining NO gas therapy with starvation of tumor cells. In their Communication on page 1229 ff., P. Huang, T. Wang, X. Chen et al. describe a biocompatible porous nanocapsule formula made of an organosilicate that transports glucose oxidase and l ‐arginine into tumor cells simultaneously. This glucose‐responsive nanomedicine shows sequential generation of H 2 O 2 and NO.
